Available functionality

Management of structured data

You can manage structured information of product features (attributes), capacity or keywords. An important quality of our system is to simplify the input of such a data. It’s not necessary to redefine the data if a group of products has the same properties. We can work with classifications, you can describe your products with a standardized classification such as eCl@ss, ETIM, UN/CEFACT. The advantage of this approach is that your business partners understand your description and are able to process it in their own system.

Group formation and hierarchy

In a printed catalog, e-shop or other channels are items grouped in a way that the customer can be easily navigated. We provide a solution where each item or group can be assigned into multiple groups and thus appear in different places. In addition to the common view, between groups and items is also possible to define a relationship at the level of a similar product or accessory.

Management of unstructured data

Text description of products is a matter of course. It‘s a possibility to save it in rich text format. Texts can be translated into any number of languages and can be used to control the timeliness and accuracy of these translations.

Media management

An important asset is the Digital Asset - digital files such as pictures, documents, videos, sounds, etc. Our solutions allow to manage, to line up and classify your digital asset so that the user can easily to use them for the channels (web, catalog).

Automatic data integrity check

From our point of view, it‘s  very important to do automatic control while data preparation. In this case, each item or group is reviewed before publication in accordance with user rules to prevent the customer from seeing an item without full data. This step eliminates later errors, such as missing or incorrect text, price or product properties. It saves your time to solve later issues with incompleted data.

Supply Catalog

In the perfect world, product data would be produced only once at the manufacturer. Everyone else would be able to take over and choose the most important of them. We have a long way to get there, but we still have the functionality to import product data in standardized formats like BMECat, Datanorm or Excel. This data gets into so-called supplier catalogs and you have the opportunity to browse and take over some of them and actively offer them. You simply save time without redefining data.

Publications

The goal of the previous points is to have complete and reviewed product data that is ready to be published in one of your channels. The data is stored in one place, so it‘s not necessary to look for complex relations between different systems. When publishing data, you only select just a part of your master data, depending on what the current channel permits in terms of space and technology. For example, in the printed catalog you don‘t have enough space to display all of the features, but at the e-shop you have. Also, you have the option of displaying a different format of the image on paper and on the internet. With this functionality, you can create a comprehensive (year-round catalog, e-shop) as well as a smaller scope or seasonal (current flyer with discounts, proposal to tender, product website with one line of products) publication.

Omni-channel

You can find online a lot about omni-channel, but how the deployments look like? A convenient solution is to have one centralized location where all the information is concentrated, like where the product is on the web, where it is in your store, etc. This data are then completed with information for the current user from one database, such as price, history, etc. Then it goes through the channels progressively before deciding to buy the product. Your goal should be to make it easier for him and make him stay with you. Have you experienced when the company has several sales points - a customer service, an e-shop, a store - but somehow they fail to cooperate? For example to view your orders on the web with a status that you made via a customer service or a store? The solution is omni-channel.

e-Commerce

Our solutions are very often linked to e-shops or product portals of our customers who use for this purpose Shopware or Kentico mainly. An important part of this integration is that all data (product information, orders, users) stay together in Dynamics NAV. Then you have a single place and uniform processes for managing this data.

Data export

We offer integration in some standardized formats, such as BMECat, Datanorm or Open Catalog Interface (OCI) formats. We also offer integration with Amazon and eBay, and we have rich experience with the integration of smaller markets that use standard formats or formats from large players.

Printing of Catalogs

With our solution, it‘s possible to print large, seasonal or industry catalogs. The catalog rate itself is primarily happening in Adobe InDesign. Customers are using either a fully automatic rate when the entire catalog is generated based on templates and PIM data or semiautomatic when graphics have access to data and work with them. In both cases, the time for printing the catalog is shortened and thus the costs are reduced. A major contributor is the fact that graphics don‘t have to worry about content. The rate is also conducted with incomplete or outdated data, which will then automatically update without the need for manual interference.

API and integration

Our system has an open API so all data can be published using REST services. We offer a variety of web services for integration, such as e-shop orders or stock availability.
